Fall work in the garden

What are you doing to get ready for next year's planting season?

We were busy this weekend preparing for spring. My business partner, RL, tilled several acres and sowed Austrian field peas and barley. I dug a small round bed below the house and planted some Hard Red Winter Wheat that I had saved for too long. All of these crops are new to me and I am eager to see what will happen before the frost.

I also chopped some wood and took the dogs out for some much-needed and overdue exercise.

Saturday the Health Care bill passed the House, but I can't see it going anywhere in the Senate. Also this morning I heard a New York City muslim speak out in praise of the Fort Hood terrorist. Every day we get a little closer to the world changing forever. I pray that I will have enough time to make my preparations. And I pray that you will too.

Pray for Israel,
