- I am a 42 year old librarian, married with one little girl, three dogs and two cats. I live on the farm where my grandparents lived and my father grew up. I would love to make a living from farming, but so far there hasn't been a way to make that happen, but I keep trying. I love my country, but am proud of my southern heritage, for which I refuse to apologize. I think that red-state America may very well be the last, best hope for the continuity of Western Civilization. I fear for the future of the United States. I think liberalism and litigation have ruined us and trained most of us to be professional victims. America has been weakened by the Liberal Left, and we are easy pickings for any number of national disasters: the economy, Dar-al-Islam, and just plain cultural stagnation. I think preparedness is an easy choice to make, indeed, I think it would be a grave mistake not to be prepared for what I feel will be a dark future. Preparedness, for me, is very empowering.
